I only ever spoke with PH Nargeolet in passing, however I am shocked by his sudden and devastating loss. His legendary character no doubt had an impact on my life and the life of many others. He had a natural talent for expressing complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner and was a great source of information on all things Titanic and beyond. From what I saw of him he was an all-around amazing person; he was a person everyone should strive to be more like.
Like many other people, I mainly know him from the many documentaries he had a hand in, I have collected a few frames from various documentaries which I think capture his character well. He was a person who was always thinking, always serious about the subject at hand, but also had pride in a job well done and was a thoughtful person, always curious and always an educator.
He was a great person and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. His legacy is forever bound to the everlasting story of the Titanic and it will never be forgotten.
