I met P.H. at several Titanic International Society conventions over the years. I was a trustee of the society for 9 years. It was so interesting to talk with someone who had actually been down to the wreck. Thanks in great part to his efforts, we have the exhibitions of items from the wreck site being seen by millions all over the world. The “institutional knowledge” he had of the wreck site is irreplaceable. I’m so sorry for his family and close friends to have lost him in this tragic way.
