While working at Titanic the Exhibition in Orlando, Fl., I had the pleasure of meeting Paul Henri. I have been following, collecting, and studying Titanic since I was 7. I am 58 years old now and Titanic consumes my life. Paul Henri was told by my General Manager that there was a historian working there and he came to seek me out. When he found me, he asked if I would be interested in a private tour. Talk about losing your breath!! Lol. Paul took me room to room and told me EVERYTHING!! He literally brought me to the Titanic and the gleam in his and my eyes just proved our pure and complete love for this story. He explained the dives, explained how he retrieved artifacts, the hull, and his overall experience. He truly LOVED his work. We spent approximately 2 hours together and I still talk about this surreal experience to anyone who will listen. Meeting one of my mentors that I never thought I would meet was by far one the BEST highlights of my life! And to know that he came looking for ME was an honor coming from someone as iconic as Paul Henri. We wouldn’t have any of these artifacts if it weren’t for him and I could never thank him enough. Paul Henri Nargeolet is to Titanic what Walt Disney is to Disneyland. He IS Titanic and anyone who has the passion for this ship as I do, knows who he is. Thank you, thank you, and thank you Mr. Nargeolet for making my dream of meeting you come true, and thank you for bringing Titanic back to life! Rest in forever peace and I will see you again❤️
